An antidote to nihilism

From where I stand in the Levantine Middle East, we are in the eye of a storm of unrest, violence and uncertainty. As individuals, we are powerless to influence the course of events, but there is still territory we can defend. I am in the process of creating an army of Cultural Warriors; Hannibal on an Elephant, Diva on a Rhino, Baby Phoenician on a Camel and Pomegranate carrier on a Wild Cat are some of these. Cultural Warriors are going to need all the qualities of the Carthaginian general Hannibal; daring, fortitude, adaptability and ingenuity, if culture and creativity are to affront nihilism.
